TCC-CIMET Prepares for RENABUMA Project
As part of preparations for the upcoming RENABUMA project, the TCC International Centre for Innovation, Manufacturing, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship (TCC-CIMET) hosted representatives from the Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) and the Centre for Settlement Studies at KNUST. The engagement focused on strengthening collaborative efforts to advance sustainable and affordable housing solutions in Ghana.
The RENABUMA Workshop, scheduled for 1st to 23rd September, will serve as a hands-on, collaborative platform where academia, industry actors, and community partners will work together to co-create innovative, low-carbon construction models tailored to Ghana’s urban landscape.
The RENABUMA project is jointly led by TCC-CIMET and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), with strong support from a consortium of key partners, including:

Together, these institutions are working to propel a new era of sustainable, bio-based, and digitally driven housing solutions that respond to Ghana’s growing urban development needs.
